Mechanical Rescue
The Operations Centre oversees the mechanical breakdown service, this task is delegated to the ACI Global, VAI Europ Assistance, IMA and SI24H organisations, which operate through their own authorised workshops.
This service is guaranteed 24 hours a day. The mechanical breakdown assistance service may be requested directly from the authorised organisations, or from the dealership’s Operations Centre. If the call comes to the latter, the operator will ascertain whether the vehicle is in a safe position and whether the user wants one or the other organisation.
If the vehicle is not in a safe position or creates an obstacle or danger, the Operations Centre will send the wagon closest to the vehicle to be rescued to the scene, regardless of the organisation indicated by the user.
From the moment the breakdown call is forwarded to the dealership’s Operations Centre, there is a time margin for the vehicle to be rescued to arrive on the scene equal to:
- For light vehicles: 30 minutes during the day and 45 minutes at night (h 22.00 / h 6.00).
- For heavy vehicles: 60 minutes during the day and 70 minutes at night (h 22.00 / h 6.00).
