The Free Flow system

The Free Flow system is a toll collection method that allows drivers to pay tolls without stopping or slowing down at toll gates. Special detection portals installed along the route identify and classify vehicles as they pass through, enabling the automatic calculation of the amount due for the actual distance traveled on the highway. Free Flow offers advantages to users and benefits the environment: without disrupting traffic flow, safety levels increase and pollutant emissions from waiting vehicles are reduced.
Starting March 1, 2026, the Free Flow system portals used for toll collection will be active on the “Ospitaletto – Montichiari” (Corda Molle) Motorway Link.
