The certificate of transit represents the receipt given at the time of payment, but is not valid for tax purposes. However, it is an essential document for issuing an Invoice, provided the original is submitted (Italian Ministry of Finance Decree of 20/07/79) to the Concession Holder.
If the toll is not paid, or only partially paid, the certificate issued by the automatic lane will constitute a Missed Toll Payment Report, and can be invoiced only after the payment has been settled.
